How to join
Who can join?
There is no prescribed age range.
Retired and semi retired people of all ages may join. No qualifications are
required and none are awarded by U3A.
Come Along and Find Out More
Romsey & District U3A has a general
meeting on the third Wednesday of each month. To see a list of these meetings click
here. Meetings are held in the Crosfield Hall, Romsey (Map)
and start at 10:00 am. After the business of the meeting (about 11:30
am) there is an opportunity to talk with activity co-ordinators, officers and
others. Non-members may attend these monthly meetings for a payment of £1.00.
The monthly meetings are free for paid-up members.
How Much?
Our membership fee is £10.00 for the
year. You can then enrol in any of the activity groups that have vacancies. A
few of the activity groups make a small additional charge to cover particular
expenses such as speakers, materials, or travel costs. The membership year starts on
7th April but you may join at any time. For new members who join on or after 1st January, the membership fee is £6.50,
valid until the 31st March the same year.
