We meet:

Normally at 10.00 am on the third Friday of the month from October to May in Braishfield Village Hall (map).

Coordinator:

Steve Williams

Our Activities:

The main aim of the group is to demonstrate how to download digital images from camera memory cards into the computer and to improve the images. The group has the use of the U3A digital projector and laptop and the enhancement of the images is done using Photo Elements software . Enhancement or editing involves improving the contrast, lighting, colour saturation and removing any unwanted colour casts. Other forms of editing can include removing unwanted clutter such as bins, people in the wrong place, graffiti etc which would otherwise mar the picture. The finished image can often be a big improvement on the original.

New members are welcome to join, there is a subscription of £9 payable at beginning of winter programme to cover the cost of hiring the hall.
