We meet:
At 10.30 am on the second Tuesday of the month in Braishfield
Village Hall (map)
except January (no meeting); May, when we have an annual day outing; and August,
the month for the group's Garden Party.
Coordinators:
A committee of six: Jane Hargreaves, Angela Greet (group treasurer), Eirian
Hannan (Questers liaison), Brenda Sennett (membership), Margaret Evans
(secretary) and Margaret Cowie (catering).
Our Activities:
We coordinate and collate holidays, in the UK and abroad, suggested by
members of the group. Destinations provide recreational, educational, cultural
and social interests. In addition to the programme outlined below further
holidays are actively being planned for autumn 2008 and spring 2009. Full
details of forthcoming group holidays are on display at the monthly
general meetings at the Crosfield Hall.
